Beaches in Roquetas de Mar
This beach is located in the center of the city of Roquetas de Mar, extends from the Rambla del Cañuelo to the marina of the city, a total of 1310 m. The degree of occupation is very high, and has all the services such as rescuer, showers, access walkways, bathrooms, litter bins and beach bars.
This beach stretches from the marina of Roquetas de Mar to the Zoraida hotel, 1520 m. The level of occupation of this beach is normally high, as it is located in the center of Roquetas de Mar. The sand is fine and has access for people with disabilities. Services: lifeguard, showers, access walkways, bathrooms and litter bins.
This beach is located east of the city at the height of the old Salinas de San Rafael, now abandoned. It occupies the part of the residential neighborhood built near the Auditorium of Roquetas and the Shopping Center, extending from the old path of Las Salinas to Rambla del Cañuelo, 1330 m. This beach is quite open so the wind blows strongly when it comes to lift. Services: lifeguard, showers, access walkways, bathrooms and litter bins.
This long beach, 1980 meters, is located in an eminently tourist neighborhood with a large amount of leisure and catering. Popularly known as the Urba, the level of occupancy of this beach is quite high, due to the multitude of hotels and apartments around it. It extends from the end of the Beach of La Bajadilla at Hotel Zoraida to the beginning of Avenida Beach of Serena.
This beach is in front of the most modern hotels of Roquetas de Mar that have been built in front of the Golf Course. Its 1780 m length extends from the end of the Beach of the Urba to the end of Roquetas de Mar. Its occupation level is quite high but without crowds. It has all the necessary services.
Los Cerrillos is a virgin beach within the Punta Entinas-Sabinar Natural Park. The back of the 2670 meters of length of this beach is occupied by small dunes, hills, covered with vegetation typical of the area and further inland we will find the natural salt pans that are a protected area of birds. A part of this beach is frequented by naturist people who practice nudism, although the beach is not declared as a nudist, it is large enough for nudists and textiles to live together without any complications. Being a virgin beach lacks services.
The Beach of the Netherlands is also known for the Beach of the Rompillos, is in an area outside the city, and is accessed by a dirt road that connects Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce. The level of occupation is medium / low, and the composition of the sand is mostly gravel, with sand and bowling areas. It lacks infrastructures and services. Its 1810 meters in length extends from the end of Roquetas de Mar in the Salinas to the Palmeral and in Aguadulce.
