Golf in Almerimar

The Almerimar golf course has 27 holes, an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course, and it is the first golf course built in Almería. Having so many holes is a versatile field where different levels of golfers can find the route that best suits their handicap.

It is located in the municipality of El Ejido in the heart of the urbanization of Almerimar, 45 km from Almeria capital and 53 km from the airport. It was inaugurated in 1976 according to Gary Player's world champion design. It has a privileged location in the salad cove of San Miguel under the Alcores and next to the marina of Almerimar and the natural site of Punta Entinas-Sabinar. In its enclosure it includes two four-star hotels, apartments and different sports facilities. It also offers several services cafeterias and restaurants shop pool parking and changing rooms.

The main course of 18 holes and par 72. The maximum course is 5981 m with the slope or field difficulty of 122. It has a golf school of initiation perfecting in children. The field is flat, of four lengths with very wide fairways and greens.
